The Challenge

The company grapples with water scarcity, leading to a heightened mineral concentration in their primary water source, particularly during the autumn and winter seasons. Additionally, strong currents and high winds exacerbate the issue by pushing seawater inland, further elevating salinity levels. Their existing demineralization plant, consisting of four lines each producing 200 m³/h, proved insufficient. Frequent resin regeneration hindered the production of an adequate demineralized water supply, essential for their operations.

The Solution

Mobile Water Solutions devised a comprehensive solution to combat rising salinity. We deployed two mobile reverse osmosis units MORO 4x25T equipped with pre-filtration systems, buffer tanks, and pump skids. This configuration achieved a production rate of 200 m³/h, with an impressive salt reduction rate exceeding 95%. The Mobile Water Solutions team also provided continuous system operation and maintenance throughout the rental period.

Benefits
  • The client operated at full capacity without the risks associated with insufficient demineralized water supply throughout the demanding autumn and winter seasons.
  • They also enjoyed the advantages of Mobile Water Solutions’ care program, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.
