The client is a Spanish Energy and Petrochemical multinational company, headquartered in Madrid. The chemicals division create products which are used to manufacture every day goods such as soaps and food packaging.
The Challenge
The client’s plant had a requirement to carry out maintenance and replace the reverse osmosis membranes. The client decided to replace the cellulose acetate membranes with new aromatic polyamide thin-film-composite membranes, which potentially could have been a risk to production.
The Solution
