Our client is a global steel company specializing in high-strength steels, known for leadership in Advanced High-Strength Steels and Quenched & Tempered Steels. They offer strip, plate, tubular products, and construction solutions.
A competitor’s MBR system malfunctioned, and the delivery time for replacement parts was close to a year. The customer required an alternative solution to ensure the continued removal of TSS and safeguard their License to Operate.
By installing our mobile filtration unit equipped with Active Filter Material (AFM) from DrydenAqua, along with manifolds, a controller, a tank, and a backwash feed pump, we successfully filtered the effluent to a level compliant with their permit. Operating at a flow rate of up to 18 m3/h, the installation efficiently removes particles down to a size of 4 µm with 90% effectiveness.
