The Challenge

The client faced an emergency situation due to unexpected problems with their wastewater treatment plant. They urgently needed to reduce the hydraulic flow and the total suspended solids (TSS) load at the inlet of their biological treatment plant (anaerobic + aerobic).

 

 

The Solution

Mobile Water Solutions provided a mobile dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit to facilitate the removal of approximately 80 to 85% of the TSS, serving as the initial step for primary treatment. A portion of the pre-treated water underwent multi-media filtration and reverse osmosis processes as a second step, allowing for partial reuse of this resource.

 

 

Benefits

Following a successful on-site mobilization period of 8 weeks, the customer extended the contract from an emergency response to a planned service lasting 12 months.
